Conferences implementation is still not finished:
    a. It’s not possible to invite a user to a conference – either during its creation (missing options to select users, which were available in beta8) or via user invite in context menu
    b. Conference history not working – users will want to have access to conference history at some point and it should be available in release version – that’s the most missing and required feature.
Please finish conference implementation at highest priority.
Missing conference history prevents us from tests in larger group of users, not to mention updating the production server and all clients.

We are currently working on history. When this feature is completed, we will release the build and then start work with invitations.

I think there is another bug, if you have one conference selected with the program minimized and somebody talks on that conference the tray icon doesn't blink, so if you don't see the popup window you can miss some messages.

Thank you very much, I'll stay tuned for 8.0.1 version then.

Conference history added in 8.0.2 displays only the first conference created with a given name.
Each subsequent conference created with that name (after closing the previous one by all users/creator) isn't displayed in history.
Admin console in Tool->Logs displays each conference with the same name as a separate entry.
Please add/fix this functionality in client.

If possible, please provide some way to distinguish the conferences with same name just by looking at the entries in Chatrooms list in Message history. Maybe:
- for closed conferences display last message date / conference closing date after the name
- for active conference display only its name, without any date.

Any news about message history for conferences with the same name ?
Can we expect this functionality in next builds (8.1.x) or will it take longer to implement ?

Hello!

Any updates on message history issue regarding conferences with the same name?

Thanks in advance

Hello!
It turned out, that this issue is more complicated than it seems. Using the same conferences is not a good idea. Unfortunately, we can't fix it quickly now.

Hi!
Thank you for your answer.
Maybe simply disabling the option to create conferences with existing names would be the best solution for now?
What do you think of that?
Thanks in advance!

Here's a little update on our conference history problem.
User1 creates a conference named Testconf and invites User2 to this conference.
User1 leaves/deletes Testconf.
User1 recreates Testconf and again invites User2 to it.
No history for this conference is being displayed (that's the problem) – it’s their second (or subsequent) conference named Testconf.
User1 invites User3 to this conference.
User3 is able to see conference history (that's new) - it’s his first access to Testconf.
When User3 will be invited again to Testconf, he will be also not able to see conference history any more.
And so on.
I hope this helps.
Thanks in advance.

Hello!
Each time you create a conference Testconf — it is a new conference even though the title is the same. That is why this conference won't contain the history until you send new messages to it.
To make sure this is a different conference, press Alt+E and check conference properties (UID).
It is relevant for version 8.3.3

The thing is that every conference should be visible in message history. In current MyChat version only the first conference is visible in message history. Every other conference created later with the same name is not visible.

For example:
- User1 creates a conference named “Test”
- All messages written in this conference are visible in message history
- User1 deletes conference “test”
- User1 creates again a conference named “Test”
- Now all messages written in this conference are not visible in conference history
Notice: first conference “Test” is visible in history, but all it’s successors with the same name are not.

User1 or any other conference member should be able to view messages written in a conference, which he participated in.

Thanks in advance and regards.

We will make a display for conferences with UIDs to show conference names correctly regardless of the letter case.
